CQPolitics.com, commenting on the entry of fmr Sen. Fred Thompson to the presidential race, mentions a good shot the DNC took on him:
Thompson probably will face tough questions about his tenure as a lobbyist and also grapple with accusations that he had a thin legislative resume as a senator. Responding to news that Thompson is preparing an official campaign, the Democratic National Committee on Wednesday released what it called a “backgrounder” on Thompson’s “major legislative accomplishments.” The page was completely blank.
